WBF 3AM Summit, organised by World Blockchain Forum (WBF) and 3AM community, took place at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore on 8 and 9 June.
Many prominent speakers spoke at the event, including WBF founder Zhao Sheng, founder of the 3AM Community Yu Hong, and co-author of Blockchain Revolution Alex Tapscott.
The summit consists of technology sharing, roundtable discussions, and a roadshow.
Blockchain-based companies from several countries, including China, Philippines, the United States, Malta, and Singapore also had booths during the event.
Zhao said, “Blockchain is something entirely new. If the past fuel of the world is oil, the next fuel of the world is tokens. Faced with a brand new world, everyone will be affected by the sweeping changes.”
The summit in Singapore is the second stop for WBF’s global tour, after their debut in London. WBF is planning to have subsequent summits in South Korea in September, and New York in November.
According to the organisers, the purpose of 3AM Summit is to “build a platform to integrate the blockchain industry, encourage the interaction between blockchain ecosystems, and propel innovation and healthy development of the industry.”
