After India witnessed its first crypto currency event in Mumbai in May 2018, it is now time for a blockchain event that will be held in South India.
India’s first International Blockchain Congress (IBC) event will be held at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC) in Hyderabad, Telangana from August 3-4, 2018.
The event which is supported by the Telangana & Goa governments and central government’s planning authority, NITI Ayog and is organised by Nucleus Vision.
Speaking on this, Telangana IT and Industries minister, KT Rama Rao said that the state has always been a flag-bearer of technology in the country and had been at the forefront of adopting disruptive technological advancements.
We have also been deeply involved in blockchain development and have been fostering a powerful support ecosystem in the state, Rao stressed.
According to the company, the International Blockchain Congress will be the largest congregation of innovators, businesses, technologists, regulators, startups and enthusiasts to come together and pave the way for an open and transparent blockchain powered world.
The participants to the congress includes, Amitab Kant, CEO NITI Ayog; Rahul Khante, Goa IT minister; David Chaum, founder Digicash; GP Gurani, CEO tech Mahindra; Yiseul Cho, advisor ICON; Michael Jacobs, co-founder Blockgrade Consulting; Min Kim, co-founder ICON foundation, among others.
This will be the first edition and is expected to see attendance of over 100 industry leaders that include blockchain thought leaders, policy-makers, industrialists, venture capitalists, and blockchain technologists with over 2000 blockchain enthusiasts.
The event is aimed at bringing thought-provoking conversations on blockchain for enterprises, next-generation financial services, developing blockchain applications and blockchain technologies for government and regulations, it further said.
The conference will highlight the latest and upcoming trends in the blockchain industry, provide an opportunity to meet industry leaders, network with like-minded people and explore collaboration opportunities.
