In order to provide an opportunity for workers to communicate with each other, India leading cryptocurrency exchange, Koinex has announced the launch of its own internal messaging system, PushMan.
The company said that the messaging system is not technically available to users, but it has been designed to streamline the platform’s inner workings in a more systematic manner.
Explaining on why they went on developing a in-house messaging system, Koinex said that, have delivered more than 20 Billion real time messages to our users in a single day. By using third party services we traded the development time spending lot of money. Relying on third party services, we soon realized that this integration model will be unsustainable considering our long term goals and continuously increasing scale. So, we started development of an in-house real time Publish-Subscribe (PubSub) system and we named it PushMan.
To focus on our trading platform, the company deferred development of in-house services and relied on third party cloud services for off-loading such functionality.
Speaking on this, Koinex founder Rahul Raj said that whenever we have a new order in our order book, PushMan is designated to convey that information as soon as it comes through, so users are instantly aware of the status of an order on the order book.”
Koinex also said that the new messaging system help the clients get real time information of coin prices. We cannot incur delay in delivery of messages to subscribers. There is no point in delivering already changed BITCOIN price to the user 5 seconds late. No matter how many times the price changes in a single second, we have to deliver with bare minimum latency.
Koines said in a statement that unlike other PubSub systems that have a waiting queue that buffers messages in case there are no subscribers, however PushMan is different. It understands the urgency of providing relevant information at that moment to the active subscribers.
