On 1st June, the Korean Blockchain Association announced their plan to organise ‘Coin Economy’ programme – a 5-week lecture/workshop programme.
The association has planned to hold lectures and workshops for developers looking to develop new businesses and entrepreneurs looking to start new blockchain companies. The 5-week programme will start on 16th June and end on 14th July. The sessions will be held on Saturdays and they will be focused on introducing business development and management methods utilising blockchain platform.
The team of lecturers is made up of experts in the field, ranging from researchers to Tech lawyers and IT Financial business professors on topics such as Blockchain Ecosystem, related Legal Issues and Business utilisation.
All attendees who complete the full programme will receive a certificate and a souvenir from the association. Interested candidates can apply through the association’s website or email and the cost of the programme is 1,000,000 KRW and 1,200,000 KRW for members and non-members respectively.
Meanwhile, the association has been working to establish secure legal system development and growth strategy for the cryptocurrency and blockchain industry in Korea by organising various other programmes including ‘Blockchain: A New Opportunity for Venture Capital Firms’ last May. The association is also working to restore the credibility of Korean cryptocurrency exchanges by implementing Discretionary Regulations. The examination of the policy implementation is still ongoing.
