On Sunday 17th June, Block Asia team attended ‘Genesis CAT Seoul Summit – A move to achieve global convergence and resource integration based on block-chain technology’.
Genesis Capital, one of China’s biggest capitals, hosted ‘Genesis CAT Seoul Summit’ at Kensington Hotel Central Park Hall at 2:00 pm on Sunday, with an aim to converge industry sectors and technologies based on block chain technology, and presented various projects to show the way forward.
Carrie Yang from Genesis Capital and more than 200 representatives from Korea and abroad participated in this Seoul Summit, which proposed 11 new project and platform through integration with various industrial fields and technologies based on block chain technology.
This is the second event after the Tokyo meeting held on May 31st in Tokyo, Japan. This summit served as a reminder of identity and value of block chain technology in Korean market where the block chain technology and the various possibilities for its utilization are still in conflict.
11 projects were presented including Block Cloud, Recycling Regeneration Chain (RRChain), DACC, BDB, Esports Chain, Contentos, HashFuture, Charter, Proton, Engine Automotive Industry First Chain and Genaro. Participants at the summit were given the opportunity to share discussions with the representatives of each project on how to integrate existing technology through the existing block chain and the resources provided by the field and how to utilize it.
Genesis CAT officials, who hosted the event, said, “I always feel that there is a lot of interest in the block chain technology in the Korean market,” he said. “I understand that there is both positive and negative perception. We hope that this event will help turn the view of block chain technology into a positive view of the use and potential of block chain technology.”
Meanwhile, Genesis Capital will continue to hold meetings in the United States, Australia, and Taiwan in order to continuously introduce new convergence of block-chain technology and projects that have the direction of integration of technologies and resources in each sector.
