On August 25, 2018, the First China-Australia Blockchain Ecology Construction Summit was successfully held as the “Australia-China Economic and Trade Expo 2018 (ACTE)” at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Center in Australia. Blockchain saw a wide application in all industries and it would evolve into an indispensable technology in the future. This results in a call for stronger security of the network to accelerate the growth of the digital economy.
Security Chain (SECC), the world’s first decentralized security defence system, is a live roadshow for the high-quality blockchain project of the “Blockchain Ecology Construction”.
Security Chain Ecological Development Officer, Mingo Chin, was invited to participate in the roundtable forum – Exchange and Digital Asset Security. Mingo pointed out that cybersecurity has always been a challenge for the Internet, and blockchain is experiencing the same threats. There are more incidents of attacks, and the commercial scale of the security industry is also growing at a breakneck speed. The digital currency associated with blockchain technology has caused immense losses due to insufficient investment in offensive and defensive systems.
In response to the current traditional security issues, Mingo analyzed the problems as follow:
- There has always been a problem of unfair distribution of interests between hackers and white hats.
- There is no good product, and the data is hidden and manipulated by the central planning company.
- The current Blockchain security solutions are mostly solutions for all application layers and are operated by almost all centralized companies.
This is also the inspiration for Security Chain. The team proposed a new model called Decentralized Secure Network Mode.
In the past, security products were sold as software models. Currently, Security products are sold through centralized cloud services and in the future, it will be decentralized secure network models. Security Chain provides a decentralized network system based on security components and secure block systems. Mingo added:
“Security network in the future consists of security nodes in countries around the world. The characteristics of our project are that anyone can participate in safe co-construction.”
In addition, Security Chain (SECC) presented a report on the latest research on Blockchain security networks and the latest developments in SECC. As a Blockchain security expert, Mingo co-sponsored the SECC with the world’s top hacker organizations. They focused on the decentralized Blockchain security system and the ecologically constructed organization, and proposed a “safe link with one-click access” solution, and the project invited the prestigious security export Chui Yew Leong as Chief Scientist.
Since technical risks are inevitable, people from all over the world need to contribute efforts and the security of the public chain gradually receives more attention. A secure multi-chain system, with global linkage and defence, is required to constitute a secure chain. This is also the innovation point of the Security Chain compared to the traditional security industry.
