The legislator of the U.S. House of Representatives passed a bill that, if signed into law, it will authorize the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study the use of cryptocurrency in sex trading and drug trafficking. Member of the House of Representatives, Juan Vargas, said that the House of Representatives unanimously passed the bill, which is now transferred to the upper house of the Senate of the Senate. It is not clear how the measure will be carried out, or whether President Trump will sign the bill. As reported earlier this month, the bill instructs the Government Accountability Office (GAO) to study how cryptocurrency and online markets are used to purchase, sell or promote financing of trafficking in goods or services related to sex or drugs, and other purpose”.
