TimiCoin, the first operating blockchain designed to elevate the patient in the process of storing medical records, appointed Senior Healthcare Strategist Marshall Votta to the Advisory Board to hasten healthcare’s adoption of its disruptive remedy.
“Over the years, I’ve been fortunate to evaluate hundreds of promising entrepreneurs and companies aspiring to improve our healthcare system, and TimiHealth has distinguished itself with the purpose to create capabilities that fundamentally transform the way we pay for and deliver healthcare,” said Votta.
“To have someone like Marshall as part of the team to drive the strategy in keeping our blockchain system decentralized and easily accessible to both doctors and patients is really a breakthrough for TimiHealth,” said Will Lowe, TimiCoin/TimiHealth’s Co-Founder and Managing Director.
“The impact that Marshall has made in various aspects of healthcare as an operator, investor, advisor and thought leader has made him a reliable and respected resource in the industry,” said Joyce Lignell, who chairs TimiHealth’s Board of Advisors.
Votta has managed strategy and growth for a variety of companies and is often invited to speak about healthcare payment and delivery in private client settings and at public, academic and industry events.
“The expertise Marshall brings to TimiHealth will allow us to rapidly capture the opportunities made possible by our recently successful blockchain pilot. Marshall’s guidance will allow us to expand upon our success and will complement our entire board of top healthcare professionals,” added Lowe.
